New Life for an Old Burlap DIY

Hello! I am back and full of creative ideas. Be prepared for an onslaught of new DIYs because I am bursting at the seams with them. :)

Today my friend and I found this really awesome store that was home to a bunch of old and vintage things. Most of the items were way overpriced, but we managed to find some items worth buying and so we each bought a colorful burlap sack. This is what I did with mine!

What I'm Listening to and you should too:

Materials

  • Burlap sack / Un arpillera
  • Picture Frame (cheap at Goodwill) / Un marco de Goodwill
  • Scissors / Unas tijeras
  • Spray adhesive (optional) / Adhesivo (opcional)

Step 1:
Clean the frame if needed and maybe spray paint it another color. I didn't paint the frame for this project because it was already a reasonable color.
~*~*~*~

Step 2:
Measure the part of the burlap that you want to be framed then cut it out with the scissors.
~*~*~*~

Step 3:
Put the burlap inside the frame, replace the back, and you're done!  If the burlap moves around and does not stay in place, then spray the back of the frame with adhesive and stick the burlap to it. Mine did not need the adhesive.
